The Quest is a single-reflection horizontal ATR device for mid-infrared and far-infrared spectroscopic measurements. It features a unique optical system composed solely of mirrors, achieving both high throughput and a wide frequency range. Additionally, the crystal disk can be easily replaced. The Type IIIa diamond disk is physically and chemically very stable, allowing for easy and high-sensitivity measurements of almost any type of sample, excluding gases, without pre-treatment and without the worry of damaging the crystal.
